Me and ToyArchitects wish you all Happy Easter,
Toyarchitects and my little Son Linus (3 years) are proud to be part of a great Charity - Show, started on March 1st in San Francisco.
EARTH MOVEMENT opened for preview at Kokoro Studio in San Francisco on Thursday, March 1st at 7PM. There will be an official art opening reception featuring artists, curators and refreshments on Saturday, March 3rd.

Linus drew three pictures when we where doing the work for the show. When I had the idea to combine them with some figures I first thought of Cavy. To make it more individual It should be one with fixed and one with articulated arms and... then I thought of activating the spaceman as the third figure. The pictures with figures are called "My litte World I - III", by Linus and Papa. Each figure comes in a special Box with a picture of the painting an has a little Tag with one of the pictures it belongs to.
Much Love and thanks for the invitation to the Curators Jeremy Brautman and Super Cooper Berella and thanks so much to Kokoro Studio and Keiko.
Visit the show while you can or have a look at these sites:
We travelled to great places this year. Toy Architects is proud of being invited to the second art show at Munky King Gallery in Los Angeles, curated by Cooper Berella (aka SuperCooper), and to Toy Art Gallery‘s first Open Call Resin Juried Toy Show back in june.
Originally made for my little son Linus as one of his first playtoys, Cavy met some awesome people this year. Some of them are twelve years old and curate their own art-shows like Cooper Berelle . Some of them can already be called true friends like Jeremy Brautman who supported the first launch of this little guy and even made some wonders happen in 2011. There´s Andy Heng who went through hard times this year and nevertheless discovers any toy-happening. And John Stokes as one of our first supporters ever. Thanks so much to you all!
Thanks go out to Jeremy Brautman, Spanky Stokes, Hello Vinyl, ToysRevil, Toyartgallery, Vinylabuse, Brokerockers, Munky-King-Gallery, Customtoyunion, Collect 3D Trampt, Bananasuicida,
Cavy traveled to, Los Angeles, New York, Singapore, Rio de Janeiro, Mexico, Great Britain , Indonesia, San Francisco, Irland, Wayne County, and Czech Republic and maybe to you, too. … so, the biggest thanks to all friends, consumers, customers and artists in the world for your support and love!
Merry Christmas, may God be with you and a happy New Year to all of you!
Thank you so much
Mathias
The theme of the show “STOP IT!” is meant to draw awareness to bullying and cyberbullying. Cooper has confirmed over 70 artists from around the world to participate in the show like:
Paintings, drawings, custom toys, and prints expressing the artists' view of bullying will be on display. Part of the proceeds from the show will be donated to GLIDE and CHIME Institute (an organization dedicated to inclusive education where kids of all abilities learn together).
Please support Super Cooper at http://supercooperberella.com/ and http://www.gosupercooper.blogspot.com/
Thank you so much for the invitation, Cooper. Best wishes again for your 12th birthday and your promising future :)
Tazx calls his custom "Cavy - The war Ham-ster" and describes it as a nuclear weapon that was used in war, and that few people are aware even of its existence, much less of its great power of destruction. A robo-style used and rusty look as well as night-glowing elements are typical characteristics of his customs. So is his war Ham-ster. Thank you so much for the pictures!!
Among the competitors you may mention many wellknown names of the participating artists: Abell, Americo Das Neves, Andrew Stewart, Bob Conge, Butch Adams, Defiance Speed Shop, Steven Erst, Erik Jacobus, Giant Japanese Monster, Bad!, Gumliens, Imagination Asylum, Isaac Hall, JAY222, JEM TOY, Keenan Cassidy, KNGL, Makalibuland, Mondocoyote, oOMoSOo, Paul Kaiju, Planet Domu, Prometheum5, Rampage Toys, Jereme Scott, Splurrt, Suckadelic, Tattoo Royale, Trenton M., Velocitron and ToyArchitects.
Looking at the famous judges Jeremy Brautman, Julie B, George and Ayleen Gaspar and John Spanky Stokes (left to right), we´re the more glad to be one of the artists among more than 70 pieces. Toyartgallery: "The Open Call Resin Toy Juried Show was created to showcase new and established toy artists who use the versatile medium of resin to create their work."Toyarchitects entered with a special "Ham and Eggs"custom of Cavy the urban Hamster, showing the basics of this figure, beeing an eggy shaped Hamster.
